The "Rangers" of Marine Aerial Refueler Squadron 234, a squadron based in Fort Worth, flew to support Marine Aviation Training Support Group 22's Fleet and Family event aboard Naval Air Station Corpus Christi October 28, 2016. The Rangers provided one of its C-130J airplanes to be used as a static display for the event.

On 2 Aug 2023, Marine Corps Detachment Goodfellow Air Force Base was pleased to host Master Gunnery Sergeant Chris Sonnabend, Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Director of Intelligence US INDO-PACIFIC Command. During his visit, Master Gunnery Sergeant Sonnabend met with leaders from each of the Joint Services conducting training aboard Goodfellow, Air Force Base.

On 2 Aug 2023, Marine Corps Detachment Goodfellow Air Force Base was pleased to host Master Gunnery Sergeant Chris Sonnabend, Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Director of Intelligence US INDO-PACIFIC Command.
